50th Anniversary Celebration
Knights of Columbus Choir from Kamloops sang a cappella, as there was no power for the keyboard or organ.
Member Maureen Gaines did the readings.
Fr. Wladek assisted Fr. Don with Mass.
Member Dianne Pecor spoke about Life Member Mabel Allen.
Fr. Don read a congratulatory letter from Bishop David Monroe...
... and led off the feast!
The tables looked great - thanks to Bernice Dionne who made the table cloths, runners, and flower centre pieces. I made the place mats, which everyone was invited to take home as a souvenir.
Thank you Bernice, for making the wonderful cakes, too!

Our 2011 Bursary Winner
President Margaret Houben presented our $200 bursary to 2011 graduate Karina Pelayo at the Barriere Secondary Graduation Ceremony on May 27.
